Administrative Assistant

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Handle confidential and non-routine information for both COO and Human Resources
• Assist the COO in the management of his schedule
• Schedule and organize complex activities such as meetings, travel, and department activities for all members of the Executive Management Team

Fabrication Supervisor

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Responsible for researching and managing the most effective construction methods for all types of vessels
• Organize and maintain the various disciplines that make up the fabrication crew (i.e. frame bulkhead assembly, prefab, hill and superstructures)
• Coordinate fabrication construction with Trade leads, Project Managers and Productions Managers. Assign work goals and assess completed work
• Perform daily inspection of all vessels for boat building techniques, parts alignment, appearance, fairness and ensure QA standards are met

Project Manager

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assist the sales, design, and estimating departments during the proposal stage of assigned project
• Develop the project plan and work-breakdown structure and achieve "buy-in" on the schedule by all involved KMI departments and subcontractors
• As the team leader, the project manager monitors departmental and inter-departmental efforts through the departmental leads assigned to the project to ensure timely completion of all tasks per the project schedule

Technical Lead - Mechanical

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Guides the sequence of engineering and design of all mechanical systems in all company projects. Performs or reviews all levels of calculation, modeling and drafting required for engineering and design of all mechanical systems.

• Creates and maintains company wide design standards for all mechanical systems. Reviews engineering department output for adherence to design standards.

• Creates technical specifications and assists the estimating department with vessel proposals.

• Assists project engineers in resolving production issues.

• Attends vessel trials and records performance data for future designs and contract compliance as required.

  JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  EDUCATION:
  

• Bachelors Degree in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

  EXPERIENCE:
  

• Minimum of 10 years of applicable experience in the Marine field. Experience in aluminum and high speed vessels preferred.

• Competent in all facets of aluminum vessel design. This should include working knowledge of USCG, ABYC, IEEE, and Classification Society rules. Good working knowledge of design spiral, vessel arrangements, structural, mechanical, electrical, and outfit details.

• Demonstrated capability of leadership and mentorship. Capable of clear, effective communications with engineering team, project managers, production management and shop floor personnel, owners, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.

• In depth knowledge of design software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Rhino.

Welder

• Proficient in assigned aluminum welding techniques using plate, tee bar, flat bar, square tube, pipe and other extrusion with minimal rework
• Interpretation of blueprint drawings, including weld requirement symbols
• Working knowledge of layout welding percentages and patterns using blueprint charts and zone prints
• Finish grinding applications using manual and hand tools

CWI Welder

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for various types of aluminum weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture aluminum product to drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction while working at a consistent speed with a minimum of repairs and following specific instructions in the weld out of aluminum marine vessels following project schedules and meeting established budgets

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Various weld preparation, welding and weld finishing for the manufacturing of aluminum marine vessels.
• Working at a consistent speed with minimal repair to maintain production schedule.
• Work according to directives in written and drawn project specifications.
• FInspection of completed welds to ensure quality according to established standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:
